âś… Important Update: Option Entry Portal Now Includes Medical Courses
The KEA option entry portal has been officially opened from 08-07-2025 for the first round of seat allotment for a wide range of professional courses:
- Engineering
- Veterinary
- Farm Sciences
- B.P.T. (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)
- Allied Health Sciences
- B.Sc. (Nursing)
- Dentistry
- BPO
- BPT Courses
Now, medical courses have also been included in the portal for option entry. This update follows the release of the medical/dental seat matrix by the Directorate of Medical Education on 19-07-2025.

- Candidates can now enter options for MBBS, BDS, and other medical courses.
- The seat matrix has been uploaded based on official government data.
- Students must enter their preferences in the correct order of priority.
⏰ Deadline for Option Entry:
Before 6:00 PM on 22nd July 2025
⚠️ No extension will be provided beyond this date.
💰 Fee Structure Awareness for Students (2025–26)
Due to the pending release of the official government order for the 2025–26 academic year fee structure for medical colleges (government, private, and deemed universities in Karnataka), KEA has temporarily adopted the 2025–25 fee structure:
- Referenced via Government Order No. MED 110 RGU 2025, dated 20-08-2025.
- This includes all categories except OTH (Q) and NRI (N) in private colleges.
- Fees will be revised once the official notification from the Government is received.
