KEAM & Kerala NEET-UG 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
1️⃣ Nativity / Domicile
Indian citizens only; OCI/PIO treated as Indian for admission but no reservation or fee concession.
Candidate Categories:
Keralite: Eligible for reservation & fee concession. Children of All India Service (AIS) officers in Kerala cadre are considered Keralite (without reservation/fee concession).
Non-Keralite I (NK I): Studied in Kerala; children of Government/Defence employees in Kerala; or resident of Kerala for 5 years. Eligible for state merit seats only; no reservation/fee concession.
Non-Keralite II (NK II): All others. Eligible for private/self-financing college seats; limited quota in government colleges; no reservation/fee concession.

📄 Mandatory Documents
SSLC / Class 10 Certificate – Proof of academic qualification.
Proof of Nativity & Date of Birth – Upload SSLC or other valid certificate. OCI/PIO holders must upload relevant documents.
Category / Reservation Certificates –
SEBC / OEC: Non-Creamy Layer certificate from Village Officer.
SC / ST: Community certificate from Tahsildar; Inter-caste marriage certificate if applicable.
EWS: EWS certificate as per Annexure XXVI.
Special Reservations / PwD: UDID or disability certificate.
Income Certificate – For fee concession or scholarship (General, OEC, SEBC).
NRI Quota Applicants:
Passport, Visa/Green Card/OCI documents of sponsor
Employment certificate of sponsor
Relationship proof with sponsor (Revenue authority certificate)
