🏥 NEET PG Counselling – West Bengal
1. Counselling Authority
- Conducted by West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC).
- Covers 50% State Quota seats in Government colleges and 100% seats in Private colleges (except NRI quota).
2. Seat Matrix (Approximate 2025)
- Government Colleges: ~1,750 PG seats.
- Private Colleges: ~300 PG seats.
- Seat division available branch-wise and category-wise (UR, SC, ST, OBC, In-service, NRI etc.) through the official seat matrix PDF released round-wise.
3. Counselling Process
- Registration – Candidate registers on WBMCC portal.
- Choice Filling & Locking – Select preferred branches and colleges.
- Seat Allotment – Based on NEET PG rank, reservation, and seat matrix.
- Document Verification – Submit required certificates online/offline.
- Reporting – Join allotted college within given time.
- Subsequent Rounds – Vacant seats carried forward to Round-2, Mop-up, and Stray Vacancy rounds.
