UP NEET PG 2025 – Counselling Guidelines

The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh will oversee the UP NEET PG 2025 admission procedure through an online counselling system.

1. Who Can Apply?

  • Applicants must hold an MBBS degree from a recognised university or medical/dental college.
  • They should have qualified NEET PG 2025 with the required cut-off score.
  • Completion of the compulsory internship within the notified deadline is mandatory.

2. Rounds of Counselling

  • First Round: Open to all eligible candidates for registration, choice filling, and seat allotment.
  • Second Round: Vacancies left from Round 1 will be re-allocated.
  • Mop-Up Round: Conducted for seats that remain after Round 2.
  • Stray Vacancy Round: If seats are still vacant, they will be allotted in this final round.

3. Step-by-Step Process

  1. Register Online through the DMET UP portal.
  2. Pay the Counselling Fee along with the required security deposit.
  3. Fill and Lock Choices for your preferred course and college.
  4. Check the Seat Allotment Result once it is published.
  5. Report to the Allotted College for physical document verification and admission formalities.
