Eligibility Criteria for Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2024:
- Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Education:
- Completed MBBS from an institution located in Tamil Nadu and is a bonafide resident of Tamil Nadu.
- Completed MBBS from any institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and parents hold a resident certificate. Must have completed a compulsory Rotatory Residential internship on or before March 31, 2024.
- Registration: The candidate should be registered with the state Medical Council/Medical Council of India.

Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2024
Step 1: Counselling Registration through Online
- Visit the website: https://tnhealth.tn.gov.in/tngovin/dme/dme.php
- Use NEET PG roll number and email registration in NEET PG to register.
- Follow on-screen instructions for registration and make online payment.
- After successful payment, registration details will be displayed, and an SMS confirmation will be sent to the registered mobile number.
Step 2: Online Security Money Payment
- Pay the required security money fees prescribed by the website.
- After payment and state merit list declaration, the online seat choice filling option will be available.
- Take a printout of the online payment receipt.
Step 3: Merit Declaration
- State merit list will be prepared with reference to NEET-PG 2024.
- Final merit list will be displayed on the website.
Step 4: Online Choice Filling
- Visit the website: https://tnhealth.tn.gov.in/tngovin/dme/dme.php
- Click on choice filling and login using NEET roll number and password.
- Fill choices in multiple sessions and remember to save and continue.
- Submit and lock choices before the deadline.
Step 5: Seat Allotment
- Check seat allotment status by logging into the website.
- If allotted a seat, accept the allotment letter.
- Physically disabled category candidates must be present before a medical board.
- Reserved category candidates will be given admission as per state government rules.
- OBC candidates covered by the creamy layer provisions are not entitled to OBC benefits.
- Candidates failing to produce required documents or providing false information will face legal action.
- Identity Verification: Candidates will undergo identity verification during admission. Any discrepancy will be considered unfair means, leading to the cancellation of their candidature. Additional legal actions will be taken against such candidates.
- Non-participation Consequence: Candidates who fail to participate in online counselling or do not join the allotted seat by the specified date will forfeit their right to admission based on the counselling/allotment.
- Irrevocable Choices: Choices made by candidates during online counselling cannot be altered under any circumstances.
- Re-allotment Requests: Requests for re-allotment of seats allocated in the first and second rounds will not be entertained.
