The eligibility criteria for seeking admission in BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BNYS/BSMS courses in West Bengal:

The step-by-step process of West Bengal Ayush Counselling:
- Candidates Registration:
- Visit the official portal of the West Bengal Medical Counseling Committee (WBMCC).
- Register yourself for NEET West Bengal State Counselling by providing the required details.
- Choice Filling First Round Counselling:
- After successful registration, log in to your account on the counselling portal.
- Fill in your choices of colleges and courses according to your preference.
- Ensure to carefully select your preferred options based on your rank and preferences.
- First-Round Seat Allotment:
- Once the choice filling process is complete, the counselling authority will conduct the seat allotment process.
- Seats will be allotted to candidates based on their NEET rank, choices filled, and availability of seats in respective colleges.
- Reporting to the Allotted College:
- Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round of counselling must report to the college allotted to them within the specified timeframe.
- Complete the admission formalities and document verification process at the allotted college.
WB Ayush Counselling Process 2025-26
Candidates applying for Ayush Colleges in West Bengal must register for the NEET Ayush counselling. Counselling of NEET for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps.
- Candidate Registration: Register on the official website.
- Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock in the preferences in the online portal.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online based on available vacant seats and candidates’ choices.
- Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
- New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.
- Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to Round 1 mentioned above.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to Round 1 mentioned above.
- Reporting to college (Round 2): Here, it is to be noted that those who will be allotted a seat in the second round of counselling (15% AIQ Quota) Will not be permitted to vacate their seats as per the order made by the supreme court of India.
