Eligibility Criteria

  1. Age Criteria:
    • Candidates must be 17 years old as of December 31, 2024, with no upper age limit.
  2. Residency Criteria:
    • Candidates must be permanent residents of Odisha OR Children of All India Civil Service officers serving in the state of Odisha cadre.
  3. Educational Qualifications:
    • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Science examination.
    • Subjects required: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
    • Minimum Marks:
      • General Candidate (GE): 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology combined.
      • SC/ST candidates: 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology combined.
      • Physically challenged candidates (PC-GE): 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology combined.
      • Physically challenged candidates of SC/ST category: 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology combined.
  4. Minimum Qualifying Marks:
    • General (GE): 50th percentile
    • Physically Challenged (PC-GE): 45th percentile
    • Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Scheduled Caste (SC): 40th percentile
    • Physically challenged candidates of SC/ST category: 40th percentile

Eligibility Criteria for NRI Candidates:

  • NRI candidates must submit the following documents:
    • Proof of NRI status of the sponsorer (Passport, Visa).
    • Relation of NRI with the candidate as per the court order.
    • Affidavit from the sponsorer confirming sponsorship of the entire course fee.
    • Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer (Certificate from the Consulate).

Odisha NEET Counselling Counselling Fee

  1. Registration Process:
    • Visit the official website of OJEE and register for Odisha NEET 2024 Counselling.
    • Complete all the required details and create your login credentials.
  2. Document Verification:
    • After successful registration, eligible applicants must participate in a document verification process.
    • Report to the assigned verification centre with all necessary documents.
  3. Choice Filling and Locking:

Counselling Process (AIQ Quota)


The counselling process for the All India Quota (AIQ) in NEET 2024 will be conducted in two rounds online, comprising the following steps:

  1. Candidate Registration: Register on the official website to participate in the counselling process.
  2. Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): Select the preferred courses and colleges and finalize the choices by locking them in the online portal.
  3. Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online based on available vacancies and candidates’ choices.
  4. Reporting to College: Candidates allotted a seat in the first round must either reject the assigned seat or report to the allotted college to complete admission formalities.
  5. New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.
  6. Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to Round 1, candidates must select their preferences for courses and colleges.
  7. Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to Round 1, the seat allotment results will be published online.
  8. Reporting to College (Round 2): Candidates allotted seats in the second round of counselling (15% AIQ Quota) are not permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders of the Supreme Court of India.

Selection Procedure:

  • The exam conducting authority will prepare a merit list of selected candidates for admission after the NEET State Counselling.
  • Admission seekers will be selected based on their rank obtained and choices filled during counselling.
  • Admission seekers must report to the allotted college for admission and submit all required documents.
