Eligibility Criteria
- Age Criteria:
- Candidates must be 17 years old as of December 31, 2024, with no upper age limit.
- Residency Criteria:
- Candidates must be permanent residents of Odisha OR Children of All India Civil Service officers serving in the state of Odisha cadre.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Science examination.
- Subjects required: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
- Minimum Marks:
- General Candidate (GE): 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology combined.
- SC/ST candidates: 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology combined.
- Physically challenged candidates (PC-GE): 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology combined.
- Physically challenged candidates of SC/ST category: 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology combined.

Eligibility Criteria for NRI Candidates:

- Registration Process:

Counselling Process (AIQ Quota)
The counselling process for the All India Quota (AIQ) in NEET 2024 will be conducted in two rounds online, comprising the following steps:
- Candidate Registration: Register on the official website to participate in the counselling process.
- Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): Select the preferred courses and colleges and finalize the choices by locking them in the online portal.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online based on available vacancies and candidates’ choices.
- Reporting to College: Candidates allotted a seat in the first round must either reject the assigned seat or report to the allotted college to complete admission formalities.
- New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.
- Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to Round 1, candidates must select their preferences for courses and colleges.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to Round 1, the seat allotment results will be published online.
- Reporting to College (Round 2): Candidates allotted seats in the second round of counselling (15% AIQ Quota) are not permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders of the Supreme Court of India.
Selection Procedure:
- The exam conducting authority will prepare a merit list of selected candidates for admission after the NEET State Counselling.
- Admission seekers will be selected based on their rank obtained and choices filled during counselling.
- Admission seekers must report to the allotted college for admission and submit all required documents.
