Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India.

MBBS from Sikkim: Candidates who have completed MBBS from an institution located in Sikkim and are bonafide residents of Sikkim are eligible.

MBBS from recognized institution: Candidates who have completed MBBS from any institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) are eligible if their parents hold a resident certificate. Additionally, they must complete a compulsory Rotatory Residential internship on or before July 31, 2024.

  1. 50% All India Quota seats of all states except J&K: These seats are available for candidates from all states except Jammu and Kashmir under the All India Quota.
  2. 100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities: Seats in Central Universities such as Aligarh Muslim University, Banaras Hindu University, University of Delhi, and Central Institutes are available based on eligibility conditions specified on the MCC website.
  3. 100% seats of Deemed Universities: Deemed Universities offer all their seats for NEET PG counselling.
  4. 50% AIQ P.G seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC): These seats are reserved for wards of ESIC insured persons.
  5. All P.G. seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions: Seats in Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions are available for registration part only.
  6. Central Institutes: Seats in institutions such as VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS & RML Hospital, and ESIC Institute, PGIMSR, Basaidarapur are available under the 50% All India Quota seats and 50% seats of I.P University.

Step-1: Counselling Registration through Online– Visit the website of the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Sikkim.<br>- Use NEET PG roll number and email registration details.<br>- Follow on-screen instructions for registration.<br>- Pay the counselling fees online.<br>- Note down the Transaction and Registration numbers.
Step-2: Online Security Money Payment– Pay the required security money fees prescribed by the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Sikkim.<br>- After payment, the online seat choice filling option will be available.<br>- Take a printout of the online payment receipt.
Step-3: Merit Declaration– The final merit list will be prepared based on NEET-PG 2024 scores.<br>- Inter-se rank in the state merit list will be referenced to NEET-PG 2024.
Step-4: Online Choice Filling– Visit the website of the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Sikkim.<br>- Login with NEET roll number and password.<br>- Fill in choices for colleges and courses.<br>- Submit and lock choices before the deadline.
