This unified online counselling process enables candidates to apply to Ayush courses offered by various government and private Ayush colleges affiliated with Uttar Pradesh’s State. The much-anticipated UP BAMS/BHMS/BUMS Counselling for the year 2024 has commenced, offering aspiring candidates the opportunity to pursue their career in Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy.

Eligibility
the eligibility criteria for Uttar Pradesh Ayush Counselling:
- Entrance Examination: NEET
- Age Requirement: Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024.
- Domicile: Candidates must be residents of Uttar Pradesh.
- Qualification: Applicants must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects.
- Minimum Percentage:
- General category: Minimum 50% aggregate in qualifying subjects.
- SC/ST category: Minimum 40% aggregate in qualifying subjects.
- PwD category: Minimum 45% aggregate in qualifying subjects
Counselling Registration
the steps for counselling registration for Uttar Pradesh Ayush Counselling:
Step 1: Visit the official counselling website: https://upayushcounseling.upsdc.gov.in.
Step 2: Log in using your NEET PG-2024 roll number and application number.
Step 3: Deposit the registration fee of Rs. 2,000 (Rupees Two Thousand) online. This payment can only be made through the following link: https://upayushcounseling.upsdc.gov.in.
Step 4: Note that the registration fee needs to be paid only once, covering your participation in all rounds of counselling. The registration fee is non-refundable.
Step 5: If you wish to participate in a particular counselling round, fill in preferences for that specific round.
Step 6: If you haven’t registered in previous rounds, it’s mandatory to pay the prescribed registration fee to participate in the advanced round of counselling.

Counselling process
Step 1: Online Registration and Payment of Registration Fee
- Visit the official website: https://upayushcounseling.upsdc.gov.in.
- Log in using your NEET PG-2024 roll number and application number.
- Follow on-screen instructions for registration.
- Pay a one-time registration fee of Rs. 2,000 online at https://upayushcounseling.upsdc.gov.in. Note: This fee covers all counseling rounds and is non-refundable.
- Fill preferences if you wish to participate in specific counseling rounds.
Step 2: Security Money and Payment Process
- For government Ayurvedic/Unani/Homeopathy colleges, deposit Rs. 20,000 as security money. For private sector colleges, it’s Rs. 50,000.
- If applying to both government and private sector, deposit Rs. 50,000.
- Deposit earnest money during registration.

Step 3: Online Document Verification
- Verification of academic records is conducted online.
- Upload the following documents:
- High School or equivalent exam certificate and admit card.
- Intermediate or equivalent exam mark sheet and admit card.
- NEET UG-2024 Score Card.
- Reservation-related certificates (if applicable).
- Domicile Certificate (if required).
- Aadhaar authentication (or other photo ID if Aadhaar not available).
Step 4: Physical Verification of Documents
- Documents are physically verified at the counselling venue and during college admission.
- Present original and self-attested photocopies of documents including NEET UG-2024 Admit Card and Score Card.
- Verification of domicile, reservation, and other relevant certificates.
Step 5: Counseling and Admission Process (Seat Allotment)
- Counseling takes place in multiple rounds.
- Upgradation of seats available based on preference and availability.
- No objection certificate needed for counseling related to an already admitted college.
- Reserved category seats not filled may be converted to other categories.
- Ineligible candidates or those who resign after the prescribed period are not eligible for further counseling.
Step 6: Stray Vacancy Round
- For candidates who haven’t been allotted seats in earlier rounds.
- Register in the Stray Vacancy round.
- Be present at the nodal center for physical document verification.
Uttar Pradesh Ayush Counselling Document Required 2024
- NEET UG-2024 Admit Card and Score Card: These are crucial for appearing in the exam and for presenting your scores during the admission process.
- High school or equivalent marksheet, certificate, and admit card: These documents serve as proof of your educational background and eligibility criteria.
- Intermediate or equivalent marksheet, certificate, and admit card: Similarly, these documents are necessary to verify your educational qualifications.
- Original residence certificate: This should be as per the prescribed format by the Uttar Pradesh Government or the relevant state government, depending on your domicile.
- Reservation-related certificates: If you’re claiming any reservation benefits, you’ll need certificates issued by competent authorities verifying your eligibility.
- Certificates for 15% All India quota seats in the private sector: If you’re applying for these seats, you’ll need relevant certificates issued by respective state authorities.
- OBC and EWS certificates: These certificates are important for claiming reservation benefits. Make sure you obtain them as soon as they are issued.
- One passport-sized photograph: This is typically used for your NEET UG 2024 application form and other related documents.
- Identity card: Any government-issued identity card such as a Driving License, Bank Passbook with photograph, PAN Card, Passport, or college-issued identity card can serve this purpose.
